Book Headbands

Twelve Choices! Add the crowning touch to your hand bound books with our exquisite headbands! Although used today as a decorative element at the head and tail of a book, the original purpose of the headband was to protect the spine when the book was pulled from the shelf. Our headbands, milled in Spain, feature ornamental silk threads woven on the edge of cotton tape. Fasten to the text block with Archival Glue. Sold in foot increments.
