Steampunk Sampler- Annual Holiday Workshop Price: $69.00 Quantity in Basket: none Saturday, December 4- 12-5 p.m. Instructor: Lisa Ohmer Explore this new art genre celebrating the Victorian age and industrial revolution. Fearless Collage Price: $49.00 Quantity in Basket: none Saturday, September 25- 10-12:30 p.m. Instructor: Paula Hardesty How many times have you seen a beautiful collage that you fell in love with and wanted to make one of your own? Where do you start? How do you start? We will create these collages in a book layering with paint, ink, ephemera and charcoal. Then adorn your collage with vintage buttons, lace and three dimensional letters. You can add a crown, hat or even wings. Let me show you how to create this collage nestled in our book. With this technique under your belt by the end of class you will be on your way to no more fear of the blank page. All you need is a place to start and here is your chance. Soldered Shadow Box Pendant Price: $59.00 Quantity in Basket: none Saturday, September 25- 2-5 p.m. Instructor: Paula Hardesty Want to explore a new dimension in soldering? Here is your chance. We will create a three dimensional soldered piece to wear or adorn your Christmas tree. First we will create a collage inside of our box by using paint, lace, and an image (Paula will have an assortment of finished images, but if you want to bring your own, make sure it is a finished piece- size:  1 1/2 x 2 inches).  We will encapsulate our collage in this glass box by soldering it all together along with texture.  Add some wire work to jazz it up and voila - you’re done. *Soldering experience is required. Optional Supplies: Image of choice (described above), black Sharpie, small craft pliers, round nose pliers, wire cutters, beads and/or charms to hang from your piece. Outsider Art Collage Quilt Price: $47.00 Quantity in Basket: none Sunday, September 26- 10-1 p.m. Instructor: Kim Byerly Not your traditional quilting class, work intuitively with fun fabrics, a colorful array of embroidery threads and finish with a bling of sequins and beads. Our focus is on creating a central motif that narrates an idea, we won’t be overly stuffy about tradition and/or technique but the outcome will be fabulous. • Pre-registration is suggested to avoid disappointment as many workshops are expected to sell out, but it is not required. You can chance availability and arrive a minimum of 1/2 hour before class start.
• Though materials are provided, see class descriptions for optional supplies. These allow you to personalize your project further. It is handy to have your own basic tools (pencil, X-acto, glue stick, scissors, metal ruler, awl, bone folder and 9x12" cutting surface).
• To avoid confusion, please use a separate form (or one online order) for each person registering.
• Cancellation policy: you can cancel your registration with no penalty up to September 3. There are no refunds after September 3, but a friend may take your place, if you wish.
